30 Years of Innovation

30 Years of InnovationDear Friends,

It sure hasn't felt like long. It was just 30 years ago that the idea to manufacture equipment from industrial-strength plastic became Lundell Plastics. We've enjoyed working with you, which is why we're so excited to celebrate 30 years.

When we started out, the Farm Crisis of the 1980s was just beginning. Our Poly Straight Flighting went into production around that time, and it quickly gained success. Such ingenuity was what pulled America out of the Crisis.

With the trend towards bulk seed in the '90s, we worked hard to supply flighting for those applications. Keeping you in mind has allowed us to grow throughout the years and provide more products.

While we've grown a lot in the last 30 years, we've also grown quite a bit recently. This year, we introduced 10 new products and 133 sizes of existing products. We've also added a 13,000-square-foot expansion to our Odebolt, Iowa, headquarters so we can manufacture more to fit your needs.

We're always working to move forward while providing you with the best products and service possible. The last 30 years were great, so we want to make the next 30 years (and beyond) even better — for us and for you.

Vance Lundell, Owner

A History of Innovation

In 1981, agricultural engineer Vance Lundell had an idea that would change the ag industry: What if augers could be made of plastic? Vance spent the next several years researching, developing, and testing what would become the first-ever poly auger. Its corrosion resistance and light weight proved
useful in many other applications, such as seed handling and industrial production.

Since then, great ideas have continued to come in the form of groundbreaking products. It all started with a single good idea, and Lundell Plastics will continue to be "where innovation takes shape."
