Injection Molding
The plastic is heated up to over 350 degrees, then mixed with colorant if needed. Then, the plastic is fed into a mold where it takes the shape of the auger.
Roll Forming
All metal tubing Lundell Plastics uses starts off as round steel and is reshaped to a hexagon.
Assembly
The plastic flighting is assembled on to the steel hexagon tubing. Then, bushings and shafts are inserted in the end. Lundell Plastics always caters to the customer's specifications, contact us for custom flighting and other products.
Shipping
The Augers are carefully stacked and shipped to the customer. Lundell Plastics has a large stock of modules ready at all times to ensure quick assembly and shipping.
Thermoforming
Lundell Plastics has the ability to mold custom plastic parts on a large scale. Watch for new products in the near future.
